Maryland, North Carolina and Florida 2008

The first 2 weeks of June - we packed the van and drove to Annapolis, Maryland where we visited with Uncle Art, Aunt Anne and Cousin Emily. We were able to take a ride on Uncle Art's boat on the Chesapeake Bay. Rebecca and Kyle loved it! They enjoyed hanging out with their cousin Emily! We then drove to Roanake Rapids, North Carolina where we had a way over due visit with our friends, Jeff, Michelle, Mallaury and Claire. Mallaury and Rebecca and Kyle enjoyed playing together and Claire being 8 months old was entertained by the other three!! We
enjoyed seeing the sights of North Carolina! We then continued on to Orlando, Florida and spent some quality time with Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Tom, Valerie, Jyak and Nick. We were able to visit Sea World, for Kyle's fascination of Shamu!! During our time in Orlando we drove to Jensen Beach to see great Aunt Carol. It was a difficult, yet good visit. It has been 8 months since Uncle Charlie passed away...

We ended our trip in Navarre Beach where Uncle Ryan, Aunt Leah and Livi are at. It is always good to visit with them! We enjoy their stories about the Air Force - Ryan often tours in Iraq, so Leah and Livi are very glad when he is home!!!
We always enjoy our time visiting friends and family! Rebecca and Kyle make hte trip so enjoyable because they love riding in the van - that makes our trips easy to do!!
Looking forward to 2009!!

On-board with blogging

Hello!

Well - I have decided to join the world of blogging! What a great way to keep family and friends updated with our family! So to our family and friends that we don't see very often - this is for you! I am hoping to keep recent pictures up of Rebecca and Kyle!

The title of our blog comes from Kyle and Rebecca. Before they start their children's worship at church, they start with a song called "Be still and know that God is here". The morning that my grandmother passed away - Kyle started singing this song, after we had dropped Rebecca off at school, in the van. When we got home their was a message that my Grandma was in her final hours. Such a beautiful way to have the Lord speak to me through Kyle!!

I am excited to keep recent posts up of our family happenings. But I have to caution that I won't be as OCD as Missy! HA!!!!!
